We are now in the month of August and that means that fall is just around the corner. Bring on the Pumpkin Spice Lattes and the Bath and Body Works fall scented candles 🙂 August is tough because there are a bunch of sales, but the clothing that tends to be on sale is usually summer clothing. Now why would we want to spend money on summer clothing when windy days and chilly nights are right around the corner?
This is exactly why I love the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so much. Now I know what you’re thinking, ‘Here we go, another N-Sale post’ *eye roll* and yes, I am going to share some of my favorites BUT I’m going to share how to shop this sale the smart way. Transition pieces are a must when it comes to summer-fall weather. Especially in CA because the we have hot/summer weather well into October. Because transition pieces are so important, it’s essential to take advantage of the Nordstrom Sale while it’s still going.
Unfortunately, the sale ends today and prices go back up tomorrow. However, if you have been eyeing a certain item that has been sold out, it’s likely that Nordstrom will restock. For example, I really REALLY wanted this hat in red and by the time I got my monthly budget money for August, it had sold out. I kept checking back and it was fully restocked the next day! Now, all items will definitely be restocked tomorrow, but they won’t be on sale anymore. I would venture to say that Nordstrom will continue to restock frequently today because that will increase their sales.
Now moving on to the best N-Sale transition pieces!
