As I have been getting older, I have started wearing higher shoes often. Being 5’3″ my whole life, I absolutely love the illusion of being tall. High heels are super great, but I am not a “champion” when it comes to them. I can hang for a little while, but after a few hours, the shoes are off. Mad props to all of you ladies who can hang in the ‘So Kate’ Louboutins! 😉
Because some heels can be super uncomfortable, I have started transitioning to wedges. They have pretty much become my new favorite shoe other than the block heel. I have found that 1. wedges are so easy to walk in and 2. I can wear them for hours and my feet don’t hurt at all!
There are so many cute wedges out this spring, it’s been hard not to buy them all! Although I have done pretty well resisting, there is one pair that is a definite must this spring and they are the Marc Fisher Ltd wedges.
They are a spring must because they are seriously the most comfortable wedges I have EVER had. I walked around in them all day on Saturday and my feet didn’t hurt at all!
The front part of the wedge and the ankle strap provide a lot of support. Because there is so much support, you can’t even feel the arch in the heel.
Wedges: Marc Fisher Ltd, patterned style here, on sale here, closed-toed here, Dupes: Steve Madden
They come in a ton of colors allowing them to pair with almost any outfit. The wedges are on the pricier side, but there are tons of more reasonably priced dupes out there. If you are looking for a wedge this spring that is super comfortable and versatile, I totally recommend these!
Some of my other favorite wedges include: these lace ups from Steve Madden, these nude espidrilles from Target and these pink patterned lace-ups from Target.
Today’s words of encouragement are “You don’t have to be perfect to be amazing!” I’m such a perfectionist, sometimes I forget this to be true. It’s always a great reminder knowing that you can be successful simply by being your best you!
