The first look, the “Dressy look” is a gorgeous burgundy and lace dress paired with some Kate Spade pointed-toe, patent leather black pumps or these cute round toe pumps. This look is on the dressier side and compliments any feminine shape. Because this dress has a longer length, pointed toe heels are perfect because they lengthen the legs and bring out the hourglass figure.
The second look, the “Classy look” has the cutest plaid skirt (I told you I was obsessed with plaid) paired with a bow tie top. The white top really compliments the red, black and white plaid pattern. I paired this outfit with two different types of shoes. The burgundy pair on the right really brings out the color in the skirt, not to mention it has the cutest bow that is the perfect touch! The black pair on the left, I’m completely obsessed with! The Victorian-looking straps take the classic black heel to another level that makes them more of a statement shoe. I think I have to buy these for myself!
The third, the “Casual look” is for the relaxed thanksgiving dinner that you might have at your favorite aunt and uncles house! Even though I placed it in the “casual” category, I think the patterned pant dresses the outfit up! The black and gold colors go so well together especially with the chunky black sweater. I am loving lace up sweaters lately, I think they are so fun. The one linked is chunky and has gold accents that really compliment the pant. I loved the pointed toe black heel with this outfit but really, you could wear any black heel!
As for the accessories, you can mix and match the gold earrings or the black earrings with any outfit! I’m all about accessories that can be worn with multiple outfits.
On the note of Thanksgiving, I just wanted to share something I am thankful for and some words of encouragement:
- I am so thankful for Jesus who has blessed me with a wonderful family, and I am especially thankful for my sweet husband who has been so supportive during this blog process (it’s a lot harder than you think)!
- Todays words of encouragement are “A THANKFUL heart is a HAPPY heart” 🙂
XOXO, Elizabeth Morgan
