Today I am sharing a super simple summer look. I love getting dressed up, but sometimes it’s fun to wear a simple, casual outfit. I have been living in these white jean shorts from Express trying to beat the heat down here in SoCal. I had been looking for a high waisted pair for awhile as I had mentioned in this post, and fell in love with these the second I tried them on. I love the fit and the distressed look of these shorts.
I chose to wear a basic tank and a lightweight kimono to complete this look. It really is the perfect combo for this 90-100 degree weather we are having here. It’s kind of funny because I see a bunch of girls talking about rain in other states and I can’t even imagine! Anyways, I get all of my basic tees and tanks at Target. I really love the quality of the material and the tops usually range from $5-$8 which is STEAL. If you are looking for basics like these, I highly recommend getting them at Target. My kimono is from a long time ago and I honestly can’t even remember where I bought it. Although there are no more exactly like this style, I found a bunch that are just as cute and linked them below.

Eric and I are getting ready to go on the trip of a lifetime very soon and I can’t wait. We leave Saturday and I have so much to do before vacation starts. Any guesses on where we are going? I think I’m going to keep it a surprise for a little while longer 😉 I hope everyone is having a great week!
