Happy Monday! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend. I am off today {praise Jesus} because I worked over the weekend. Let’s just say it was a LONG work week for me. Anyways, today I am sharing this super cute striped fall transition top! Before I share all about the material and fit, I have to share the story behind it 🙂
My story begins back in July during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I do not have a Nordstrom card so I had to wait until Public Access started before I could make purchases. By the time Public Access started, ALL of the clothes I had eyes on were sold out. Eric {AKA hubby} and I went to Nordstrom in the mall in hopes of finding some sale items in the store. Unfortunately everything I was looking for was sold out in the store as well {I was so sad}. I think Eric felt so bad for me because he suggested to look around and actually found this striped shirt! He grabbed the shirt off the rack and I immediately fell in love with the stripes and loose fit. The top was $49 which is a little pricey for my monthly clothing budget {I have $100 per month for clothes}. I told him sadly, it would be half my monthly budget and placed it back on the rack. He picked it back up, smiled, and said he’d get it for me! Since then I have been wearing it non-stop!
The stripes are a dusty charcoal gray color which goes with everything! This top looks great with blue jeans, but would also look super cute with a tan or burgundy skirt. This top is very loose fitting and fits larger than normal. I am wearing an XS size and it fits perfectly. The material is super soft and very light weight. I definitely would recommend this top!
