Happy Wednesday and second day of spring! I was thinking about which season is my favorite and I thought it was fall, but now that the flowers are starting to bloom and the stores are launching their spring collections, I may change my mind 😉 I am loving all of the floral prints that are out lately and yes florals during spring is a bit cliche – but if it works, why fix it, am I right?
A few weeks ago I was shopping in Forever 21 and saw these pants hanging on the wall. The second I saw them I knew I had to have them. I was a little nervous taking them to the dressing room because 1. high-waisted pants aren’t always the most flattering for short people {I’m 5’3″ for size reference} and 2. the wide-leg pant style doesn’t always work for people who are pear-shaped {like me}. To my surprise, these pants fit perfectly!
The waistband has elastic in it which allows for some stretch. I love elastic waistbands because they create a better fit. These pants are very true to size however, they are long. I’m wearing a size small with about 4″ wedges. As you can see the pants fit perfectly with the wedges on, but are way too long to wear a shoe that is any shorter than 4″. If you are my height and are thinking about purchasing these pants, I would recommend these wedges to go with them. These wedges are my favorite because they are tall and are SUPER comfortable and easy to walk in.

Eric is taking off tomorrow to go watch the Angel’s play at spring training so I will be flying solo for the rest of the week. I’m thinking I’ll be doing lots of facial masks and binge watching all the girly Netflix shows 🙂
