First, let me start by saying my mom is one of the most stylish people I know. Ever since I was a little girl, I admired her ability to create such flattering and feminine outfits complimented by details that sparkled and vibrant colors. I guess you could say my love of fashion came from her.
Each season, my mom does a bit of a closet “spring cleaning” and passes down her clothes to me and my sisters. I’m the lucky one because my mom and I are the exact same shoe size and clothing size. This year she gave me this peplum top among other pieces of clothing. I was so excited to get it and knew that it would be perfectly paired with my pink Zac Posen purse and pink Chinese Laundry heels.
I love the classic ‘white top with jeans’ look so I try to find variations of white tops to create new styles. Peplum tops are one of my favorites with they create a feminine shape and bring your waist in. Unfortunately, this top is sold out but I made sure to link a bunch of cute ones at the bottom of the post.
Aside from the peplum top, my Zac Posen purse is my favorite part of this outfit. This bag is pricey, BUT it can actually be styled three different ways. It can be styled as a cross-body bag, an arm bag or a backpack – how cool is that?! This pink purse is currently sold out, but comes in many different colors including white, peach and multicolor!
Top: Burberry {sold out} similar here and here, Jeans: Express {true to size, wearing size 0}, Convertible Backpack: Zac Posen {sold out} also comes in multicolor, white, peach, light pink, and black with pearls, Shoes: Chinese Laundry {ON SALE}, Necklace: Gorjana, Bracelet: Bauble Bar {sold out} similar here, Lips: Tarte “Festival”
Verse of the Day: “Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” – Proverbs 31:30.
I picked up a cold from all of my traveling in Iowa so I will be resting today. Hopefully I can kick this cold to the curb soon! Wishing you all a wonderful week! 🙂
