Hubs and I went to Las Vegas this past weekend. If you were following along on my Instagram story, then you know we had a blast! Like I had mentioned in my previous post, I had only been to Vegas a few times before and Hubs had never been!
I first have to start off by apologizing because I was having so much fun on our trip, I forgot to take a ton of photos. I guess that’s what I get for living in the moment 😉 Since I started blogging, I have really had to be conscious about taking photos because I get caught up in the moment and completely forget about documenting things on film. Does anyone else have that problem? For example, I am terrible at food photos… by the time I remember to take a picture, I am already half way through my food.
We stayed at the Mandalay Bay hotel and our view from the hotel was amazing! The rooms were so clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is located at the beginning of the Strip which is nice because you aren’t in the middle of all of the hustle and bustle. However, you are close enough to walk to the main parts of the Strip.
The food was absolutely amazing in Vegas. We went to Gordon Ramsey Burger on our first night and the food was insane. I had the Blue Cheese Burger and it was super yummy. Hubs and I shared a Oreo cookie, Crème Brulee milkshake which was out of this world! If you are going to Vegas, I highly recommend this place because the food is great and the prices aren’t bad at all.
We also went to The Chandelier at the Cosmopolitan. How cute is that couch?! I would live at The Chandelier if I could. It’s a bar area in the hotel that is covered with gorgeous purple lights and crystals everywhere!
These pictures of the Bellagio Garden do not do it justice. I have never seen so many tulips in one spot. If you go to Vegas, you HAVE to visit this place.
I would also recommend to get the “Fremont Experience.” Las Vegas was originally started by the mob (funny huh?). They planted a ton of hotels and Casinos at what is now know as the Freemont Street. It was really neat seeing the original buildings and signs.
Here is a picture of me buying my first Louis Vuitton purse! I was beyond excited. I still cant even believe I got it!
Well, I could keep going, but I don’t want to make this post too long (sorry it already is!). Basically to sum it up, make sure you visit all of these places when you go to Vegas! You wont be disappointed 🙂
Today I’m sharing a quote of the day and it is “Vacation calories don’t count.” Ain’t that the truth! 🙂
