Mustard Cable-knit Sweater

I am so excited to share this sweater with you guys because I absolutely love cable-knits for fall and winter. I don’t know about you, but I always have a really difficult time finding the right cable knit sweater. Either the sweater is too thin and doesn’t have the right texture, or its a gorgeous cable knit sweater that’s way out of my budget. That’s why I was so excited when I found this mustard colored cable knit sweater from DressLily.

I am really loving mustard for the upcoming fall season and I can already tell that this is going to be a popular color. I don’t wear shades of yellow often and I don’t really know why because it is such a pretty color. This blog has definitely forced me out of my wardrobe comfort zone and I am so glad. Mustard is a very versatile color that will go well with almost everyone’s hair color and skin tone. I have dark hair and an olive skin tone {as you can see}, but I also think this sweater would look gorgeous on someone with red and/or blonde hair and/or a fair complexion.

When I received this sweater in the mail, I was even more excited. I had never bought anything from DressLily before and was a little skeptical because they have such low prices. When I opened my package, I was so pleasantly surprised at how amazing the material quality was. The sleeves are very thick which makes this the perfect sweater for those chilly fall nights. All you will need is a hot Pumpkin Spice Latte to go with it 😉

I paired this sweater with my favorite blue jeans from Express and houndstooth heels from DSW. If you have never bought jeans from Express, you HAVE to buy a pair. These are seriously SO flattering and are super soft. I pretty much buy all of my blue jeans from Express nowadays. If you think the jeans are a little out of your budget, wait a few weeks. Express is always having denim sales and often times their jeans will be marked down to $40-$50.
