Now that it is officially almost September, I am starting to bring out more of my fall clothing. I actually purchased this dress from the Nordstrom Sale back in July. Loved the style and really fell in love with the concept of a “sweatshirt dress.” To me, it sounded like it would be the comfiest dress ever. I am happy to share that I was right!
I thought this dress would be a lot thicker material because most sweatshirts are pretty thick. The material is very soft but it is somewhat of a thin sweatshirt material. I’m actually really glad this dress is thin because the fit is not bulky at all. Because the material is on the thinner side, it is perfect for cooler weather. If the weather is really cold where you live, you may want to add some tights for warmth {burgundy or olive colored tights would look so cute with this dress}.
I paired this dress with one of my favorite pairs of fall shoes. I honestly don’t even know what to call these. Are they booties? Are they cut-out booties? If I could add emojis into this post, I would pick the one with the girl who’s got her hands up, shoulders shrugged looking at you like ‘I dunno.’ This shoe is from a few season’s ago so it is no longer available, but I made sure to link some similar pairs below. Really any ankle bootie or other kind of boot would go well with this dress!

By now, Eric and I have officially been in Israel for a few days! I’m not even going to pretend I didn’t pre-write part of this post 😉 Being in the moment is so important to me and it’s really hard to do that while blogging on vacation.
