I seriously cannot believe the Fourth of July is next week! This year is flying by and I can’t keep up. I love the summer time, but I find myself ready for crisp fall weather and sweaters. I’m crazy right?! Well, since its only June, I wanted to share THE cutest dress for the Fourth of July.
You definitely don’t have to dress up for the Fourth of July, and most people in SoCal are in their bathing suits all day, but sometimes its fun to put on a red dress or a blue and white striped romper. I was searching for the perfect Fourth of July outfit and knew I wanted to wear something red. I wore a blue and white striped romper last year, so I wanted to change it up.
I was skimming through the recent Bloomingdales sale items and fell in love with this red dress. I love the off-the-shoulder style and the ruffled lace look. So fun! I also loved the loose-fitting style of this dress. I don’t know about you, but I prefer wearing loose-fitting clothes when it’s super hot outside. Who wants to wear tights clothes while you’re sweating, no thanks! This dress is a little pricey, but the quality of the material is AMAZING. It’s super soft on and is not too heavy.
I chose to pair this dress with my favorite summer wedges, but I probably would be just as happy running around in this dress wearing some cute slides or my favorite Tory Burch sandals. If I’m being completely honest, I’ll probably be wearing flats on the Fourth of July. Eric and I always head to San Clemente for the holiday and walk around the beach and the pier. This is girl is not champing it in wedges 😉
