I don’t know about you, but Hubs and I are ALWAYS looking for good movies and shows to watch. We have Netflix, HBO Go, and Amazon Prime so between the three, we are pretty much set. Now that fall is here and the weather has started to cool down, I wanted to share some of my favorite fall, suspense movies and TV shows. We have already watched some of them previously, and some we are just starting. If you are looking for some suspenseful, spooky or mind-bending things to watch, you should definitely check these out!
1.Stranger Things
This is a TV show that is super mid-bending and twisty. Right when you think you have figured out what is going on, things change completely. This show can be viewed on Netflix. The first season is currently out and the second season will be out on Halloween!
2.The Zodiac
This is a movie and based on a true story. It’s about the search for a serial ‘Zodiac’ killer – kinda creepy, but so suspenseful and intriguing. If you don’t mind a murder mystery, this one is for you! You can watch this on Netflix. You may even be able to stream it online.
3.West World
This TV show is on HBO and is a great show to watch. For all my Game of Thrones fans, HBO did it again. It’s not super fall-ish, but this show will definitely get your mind going.
4.Gone Girl
Gone Girl is a movie and the story line is completely twisted. I remember watching the end and thinking “Wait, WHAT.” This is the type of movie where you think it will end one way and it ends up being the complete opposite. You can watch this movie on HBO Go or stream it online.
5. Ozarks
Hubs and I just finished this show and we actually really liked it. The story line is interesting because it’s about a man who launders money for a drug dealer and how that poses issues in his personal life. Originally I wasn’t into it, but by the end of the show, I was totally left wanting more. This show is on Netflix and there is only one season up right now. Check it out if you are looking for a good binge-worthy TV show.
6.Making a Murderer
Ok, this one is SO good! This show is a documentary based on real life events. Season 1 is about the events in the Steven Avery Trial. It was really interesting seeing all of the behind the scenes because I remember when this trial was on the news. If you like suspenseful documentaries, you will love this!
7.Shutter Island
This one is an oldie, but a goodie. I’m sure many of you have seen it, but I had to put it on here because it is so eerie and interesting. You can stream this movie online or purchase it at Target or any other similar store.
8. Peaky Blinders
This is a TV show on Netflix about a family who runs a gambling business in the early 1900’s. I love shows that are set in that time period because it’s so fun to watch how things used to be. Hubs and I started watching it and havn’t finished all of the seasons yet. This is a fun one if you like romance, drama and suspense!
9. Hocus Pocus
Ok, you know I had to put some Halloween Movies in here. Hubs and I went to Big Bear this past weekend with our friends and my friend’s husband has actually never seen this movie! This is a classic Halloween movie. If you haven’t seen it yet, keep your eyes open because it’s going to be playing on multiple channels all month long.
10.Halloween Town
This is another classic Halloween Movie. This is actually a Disney original movie and usually plays on the Disney Channel closer to Halloween. It’s more of a kids movie, but the story line is really great! I would definitely recommend this movie even to adults!

I’m totally going to check some of these out! When I was little, my favorite Halloween movies were Twitches and Twitches 2. I was obsessed with them and still try to watch them every Halloween 😂
