Drugstore Beauty Buys.

Here I go with another blog post series BUT trust me, you will love this one too 🙂 I have recently noticed that I find a favorite beauty product and stick to it like it’s no one’s business. Years pass and I am still using the same product as before. While there’s nothing wrong with sticking to one good product, I have found that the science behind each beauty product gets better and better each year.

This blog is one of the reasons why I am constantly trying new products because companies send me items to test and review often. Since trying more new products, I wanted to start testing drugstore beauty products because some are pretty good quality and most are very cost effective.

Yes, every girl would love to wear expensive beauty products, but sometimes budgets do not allow {anyone else love saving money?!}. That is why I decided to create this series where I test out 5 drugstore beauty products and review them for you!

1.Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

I’m not sure about you, but I definitely do my best to have clear skin. Unfortunately, I struggle with black heads {GROSS} so I am always on the lookout for products that help combat this. I definitely like these pore strips for that reason. I was really impressed with their ability to draw out draw impurities from the stubborn areas such as  your nose and chin. I would definitely recommend trying these!

2.Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner

I actually LOVED this eye liner – it totally surprised me in a good way. A few years ago, I began using liquid eye liner because it looks more defined and creates a cleaner line. I have been using this brush and this eye liner product for awhile, but wanted a quicker way to put on eye liner. I had read a few review and decided to try this product and was super impressed. The color is super dark black and the line does not smudge at all. I 100% recommend purchasing this product.

3.Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

OK, I do not like this mascara AT ALL. I have pretty long lashes and don’t like my mascara to clump them together. This mascara is the queen of clumps! I think it has more to do with the brush because the bristles are so small and short, but regardless I was pretty disappointed in this product. The color is super dark and it doesn’t flake off but that’s the only plus in my opinion.

4.Daylogic Purifying Gel Overnight Masque

Loved this. I have never tried an overnight mask before and I loved it. You rub the product onto your face before bed and let it set in while you sleep. When you wake up, you don’t have to wash any residue off because the product completely dissolves in your skin. My skin felt super soft and hydrated when I woke up!

5.Loreal Voluminous Lash Primer

Completely obsessed with this stuff. As I said before, I have pretty long lashes however they are thin. This primer helps thicken them up to make mascara look even more dramatic. You apply this product to your lashes before putting on mascara. Let it dry for a minute or two and then apply mascara. I definitely recommend this product to make your lashes look thicker and more vibrant!
