Is everyone surviving the Nordstrom Sale? I’ll bet if we had a dollar for every Nordstrom sale Instagram post, we probably wouldn’t need to work anymore 😉 With that being said, the sale is just WAY too good to pass up so if you haven’t checked it out yet, you definitely should. All of my favorites from the sale are listed in this post or you can shop them here on this page. Hub’s put me on a STRICT shopping budget (smart man) so I got my Sam Edelman boots and my Mac Lip Kit and I’m a happy girl. Sure, I would love this leopard poncho and pretty much everything from the entire Nordstrom Sale, but hey, I will survive.

While it’s fun shopping all of the fall clothing, I am constantly reminded that it’s still summer every time I walk out of our apartment door. Because it’s been so hot lately, I am living in light-weight shirts. One of my favorite, versatile, light-weight tops is the infamous Chambray top.

The Chambray top style is very popular right now. Meaning, you can pretty much get these anywhere for a wide range of prices. I love this one for $20 at Old Navy and this one for $99 at Nordstrom.

I usually wear this top with lots of different colored pants, but my favorite is the classic white, ankle crop, skinny jean. I bought these jeans from Anthropologie awhile back and they are now 45% off!!!! Lucky you guys! They are tight (which I love) and only stretch a tiny bit. Most of my jeans always stretch out, but these keep their shape really well. My jeans run a little large (as do most at Anthropologie) so make sure you size DOWN!

Last night, Hubs and I went to a Blackberry Smoke concert and we had SO much fun. The struggle is REAL today at work, but it was so worth it!

Today, I wanted to share a verse of the day that I learned when I was in high school. It’s a good one because we all face trials in life, but this is a reminder that we are strong in HIM and can prevail. The verse is “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to making. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13. If you are going through a tough time right now, know that you have an AMAZING God who will provide a way out!
