The weather has finally started to cool down in SoCal and that means I’m breaking out the jackets! I love patterned peacoats, and fell in love when I saw this buffalo check peacoat from Rosegal. I had never heard of Rosegal until they reached out for a collaboration. I was a little skeptical using them at first because everything is made and shipped from China. Some people have mixed opinions regarding these kinds of companies usually because the clothing is very inexpensive, shipping takes forever, the sizing is different than US sizes, and sometimes the quality of the clothing is not the best.
It was great having the opportunity to collaborate with them at no cost to me so I could provide an honest review. First, I will start by saying, I actually really LOVE the jacket. The outer material is pretty nice for $28 and the material on the inside is comfortable as well. I did not expect the quality of this jacket to be so great because of the price, but I am pleasantly surprised. This jacket is actually somewhat thick as well. It kept me very warm when we visited Iowa
Now for the sizing. The sizing from Rose Gal is different from the US. They have a size chart on their website which was pretty helpful. Everything runs about one size smaller than what you would normally wear. I am usually a size Small or even XS when it comes to jackets and I wear a Medium in this coat. The Medium fits perfectly.
Because this company is located in China, the shipping did take longer as expected. It took about 2 weeks or more to receive my package in the mail. If you are looking to buy clothes ahead of time, and don’t mind waiting then this won’t be a problem.
Overall I really liked my jacket from Rosegal and will likely be purchasing more clothing from them in the future. If you are looking for inexpensive clothing that is good quality, you should definitely check them out!

Verse of the Day: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.” – Exodus 14:14. I wanted to share from the book of Exodus today because often times I forget about this book. We usually know the New Testament like the back of our hand and remember the stories from the Old testament, but forget about God’s strength that is mentioned in the Old Testament. I LOVE this verse because it is a reminder of how God protects us and keeps us safe (as He did the Israelites) and all we need to do in return is follow Him.
